Dead-Time Compensation Method Using Kalman Filter in the Vector-Controlled AC System
Original language description
In this paper, a novel dead-time compensation method based on the estimation of the phase currents is proposed. The estimated currents by Kalman filter suppress the effects of the zero-clamping phenomenon. Therefore, detecting zero crossing can be done without any problems and correct polarity compensation voltage is calculated. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed dead-time compensation strategy.
