This paper deals with simulations of lightning effects on aircraft. They can be divided into two broad categories: direct and indirect. Furthermore, production of suitable simulative models for explored object, semi-composite aircraft EV-55, will be discussed. Selected computational methods and real measurement results will be compared as well.
