This contribution deals with the topic of using the RFID technology in logistics process. Many articles have been written about finding the most optimal use of RFID tags, optimal shape of RFID antenna, location and reading of RFID tags in order to reachthe greatest added value. This contribution inquire into a different perspective - usage of UHF RFID sensors for monitoring the logistic process for the purpose of finding critical points of transport and evaluation of logistics process quality. This isa somewhat different view - to use RFID technology as a tool for supporting quality of transport by using bar codes. In the conclusion, economic evaluation of this solution which may bring significant savings by parallel use of RFID technology and bar codes is described
