    Novel system and circuit topology based on sigma-delta modulation signal subtraction for measurement of very low variation of high currents is presented. It is used primarily for the bolometer signal processing where in addition it can also compensate the self-heating effect conveniently. Nevertheless, the principle can be used in many other applications too.
