A Modified CFTA (MCFTA) and Its Application to SITO-Type Current-Mode Universal Active-C Filter
Original language description
In this paper, a new second-order single-input and three-output (SITO)-type current-mode (CM) active-C universal frequency filter is presented. The proposed CM filter structure employs two modified current follower transconductance amplifiers (MCFTAs) asactive elements and two grounded capacitors, which is ideal for VLSI. Simultaneously a low- (LP), band- (BP), and high-pass (HP) filter responses can be realized with low input and high output impedance. Other additional components to realize band-stop(BS) and all-pass (AP) function and any component matching conditions are not required. All the passive and active sensitivities are low. The PSPICE simulation results are included to confirm the workability of the proposed circuit.
