Cross-Layer Dual-Hop Energy Model for 802.15.4 Networks in a Beacon-Enabled Mode
Original language description
802.15.4 is a popular standard for PHY/MAC layer protocols. Now a days cross layer modelling has became a very important research issue. A combined PHY and MAC layer energy modelling in beacon enable mode for short range 802.15.4 network is discussed here. We also consider dual hop transmission model using DF relay. In this energy model we focus on the effect of superframe structure and the other MAC layer parameters also.
