Application of the Matrix Homogenization Method for Calculation of Effective Properties of Laminated Composites
Original language description
The study investigates the possibility to replace a layered composite structure by an effective one. For the determination of the effective medium properties, it is proposed to use the matrix homogenization method based on the Campbell-Hausdorff formula for the matrix exponential. The method performance is demonstrated on a transversely isotropic magneto-electroelastic layered composite.
