Intra-vehicle UWB channel modeling in frequency-domain
Original language description
Simulation model for characterizing an in-vehicle ultra-wide-band (UWB) channel is developed from the channel transfer function (CTF) measured in the frequency-domain. Simulation model decomposes the complex transfer function into two terms, a real valued long term trend following power law, and short term variations modeled with autoregressive (AR) process. Power delay profile (PDP) and root mean square (RMS) delay spread, obtained from the measured and the simulated data sets, matches well. Possible to extract time-domain SalehValenzuela (S-V) parameters.
