Fractional-Order Multiple-Feedback Filter Employing RC Element with Distributed Parameters
Original language description
Fractional-order low-pass filter design based on a multiple-feedback filter with operational amplifier is presented. One of the capacitors is replaced in the original filter by passive element with capacitive fractional-order impedance. The relations describing the circuit are given and procedure of element computation for a Butterworth-like approximation is stated. The manufactured sample of fractional-order element based on resistive-capacitive layers with distributed parameters is employed in the filter. Simulation and measurement results are provided to verify the functionality of the design.
