This paper deals with a simulation of gas leak for a purpose of testing ultrasonic gas leak detectors. Principle of a sound creation and major techniques of the detection are described. Three methods suitable for simulation of the gas leak are analytically introduced. Commercially sold detectors and methods for testing are presented.
