Investigation of Cyclic Voltammetry in Ansys Fluent
Original language description
This article presents a custom electrochemical model implemented into Ansys Fluent. This model was used to model cyclic voltammetry at micro- and macroelectrodes. As the simulation of microelectrode arrays is quite difficult, necessary adjustments were described, which resulted in a computationally less expensive solution. Differences between the response are presented. The influence of the exchange current density of the reaction was also investigated. The results show that the presented model can be used for the investigation of cyclic voltammetry.
