Tubular resonant networks creating a homogeneous magnetic field via different resonance modes
Original language description
This paper deals with the fabrication of different types of resonant networks and with analysis of their resonant modes. As a reference serves a standard structure of the well-known Birdcage resonator, supplemented by three resonators with the same geometry, but different resonance modes. The modes of the resonators were analysed in order to provide a universal comparison, applicable also to the original birdcage resonators. The described resonators were modelled and analysed using FEM simulation and fabricated using copper tape and lumped capacitors. Their parameters - impedance and distribution of the leg currents were evaluated. Two of three introduced resonators can be used to create a homogeneous magnetic field.
