Internet of Things: current state and future outlook
Original language description
The direction of the development of the Internet of things is due to the ever-increasing need for the Internet - the communicative component for the exchange of information not only among people, but with the increase in information, receiving it from certain devices. The development of technology has led to the transition to the Internet of things (IoT), which includes a much larger number of devices that allow you to create colossal monitoring systems for various objects. All these devices are connected to a platform that allows you to analyze and process information, control and issue commands to individual devices for further activation of the process. The concept of the Internet of Things implies the connection of any things to the Internet or their interaction using some of the available technologies of any type, which may contain some communication components. These components form some systems (subsystems) that allow: to transmit information, to interact with the external environment, to receive data from outside, and are perceived as entities that can be controlled. The Internet of Things is a system of physical objects connected by a common network with embedded sensors and software, characterized by an autonomous mode of operation and the possibility of remote control. The global task of the Internet of Things is to take over the management of huge data and develop certain actions without human participation, leaving the control functions to the person, which implies not just the exchange of signals, but the generation of advice for us. The Internet of Things is not the distant future, but our present. In general, IoT and other infocommunication technologies that allow devices to interact with each other without passing a person are intended to serve him for the good, thereby giving people the potential to naturally change the environment, open up new opportunities to make life qualitatively better, more interesting, more comfortable.
