Original language description
This document presents the design of a smart socket that can be integrated into an electrical installation wiring box. The article describes the design, construction of a functional prototype, and verification of communication capabilities, including the measurement of electrical parameters. The proposed smart socket can measure voltage, current, frequency, active power, reactive power, apparent power, and phase shift and achieves similar accuracy as commercial devices. The prototype will be used especially in smart home applications to increase energy efficiency and power supply management or to remotely control (switch on/off) directly connected devices to reduce undesired power consumption.
