Quantum-Resistant Key Management and Archiving in Cloud Storage System for Digital Evidence
Original language description
As quantum-safe solutions are increasingly designed for current digital services, there is also a need to focus on quantum-resistant services in cloud computing. In this paper, we review a current state of key management systems used in cloud storage and we present our post-quantum key management solution for a customized cloud storage system that is handling and storing digital evidence. Our solution provides a quantum-safe server-side key establishment for data encryption/decryption and digital signing in order to keep the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of stored data. The implemented solution is tested and performance results indicate practical usability even with larger files.
