Printed antenna with dielectric lens for 5G applications

  • Original language description

The paper deals with the design of a printed antenna dielectric lens for a patch antenna for the N79 band, which is used in the fifth generation of mobile communication systems. There is not a large selection of antennas available in this band that could be used for wireless communication. At the same time, 5G networks seem to be the future in communication technologies. With the expansion of the use of frequency bands, it is necessary to develop devices (antennas) that will allow the use of higher frequencies. Both the antenna lens and the antenna are realized using various 3D printing methods. 3D printing is a fast and inexpensive method for experimental antenna development.
