Fuzzy control of the extraction of organic binders from ceramic materials
Original language description
The paper describes some practical experience with the fuzzy control of the extraction of organic binders from ceramic materials. The extraction is a thermal process that is executed in an electrical furnace. Unfortunately there was no expert for the control of the furnace. The simulation method has been used to fulfil the knowledge base of the fuzzy controller. We created the mathematical model of the furnace as well as the mathematical model of the fuzzy controller. The rule base and the data base ofthe fuzzy controller were found with help of the model in the closed loop and, subsequently, were transferred from the model to the real fuzzy controller and tuned in by trial and error procedure.
