    An eight-port RC-active network is presented. This network can be employed as an oscillator, as a grounded inductor with adjustable inductance, as a lowpass/bandpass/highpass/notch/allpass filter working in the voltage mode (V/V mode) or in the hybrid I/V mode, as a lowpass/bandpass/highpass filter working in the current mode (I/I mode) and as a bandpass filter working in the hybrid V/I mode. Some simulated and measured results confirm a good agreement with the theoretical conclusions.
