  • Original language description

    By replacing analog elements in LC filters by their digital models wave digital filters can be synthesised. The series and parallel wire interconnections are substituted by series and parallel digital adaptors. In most cases, three-port adaptors are used. The existing convention is such that port 1 is input, port 2 is output and port 3 is used to connect given impedances. In some cases condition-limited adaptors are modified. They have the simplified input-output equations.
