Original language description
The technology of securing digital signal transmission against errors caused by transmission over telecommunication channels is taught in the Department of Telecommunications , Brno University of Technology, in the courses Data Communication and CodeSecurity Systems . For a detailed demonstration of basic procedures of the code security process the VISICODE program has been developed . Using a personal computer we can simulate the code security process in progress and observe its action on the computer monitor. This instrument of instruction has one basic drawback. It is only applicable to simple encoding and decoding equipment. More complicated encoding and decoding equipment has a very poor resolution. A new system is therefore being developed,which eliminates these drawbacks.
