From Implementations to a General Concept of Evolvable Machines
Original language description
This paper introduces a little bit different view on evolvable computational machines than it is usually presented. Evolvable machines are considered as mathematical machines. Traditional tools of theoretical computer science are then employed in order to obtain qualitatively new understanding the evolvable machines. In particular the questions related to formal definition and computational power are discussed. The concept is proposed in framework of traditional software and hardware implementations ofevolvable machines.
