  • Original language description

    The main objective of this article is to develop necessary hardware (sensor modules and communication support infrastructure) and firmware solution for reliable wireless sensor network. Key standards of interest are, above all, IEEE 802.15.4 WPAN and ZigBee. Remote monitoring and data collection features based on the Ethernet connectivity will be also closely examined. Finally, practical tests of developed hardware and network communication performance shall evaluate the whole conception.
