The paper focuses on IPv6 monitoring considering also tunnelling IPv6 over IPv4 with respect to IPv6 addressing issues. After a brief restate of current IPv4 monitoring techniques the main part of the document deals in detail with the following issues: practical configuration of IPv6 Addresses at this university, IPv6 hosts identification, how to collect the monitored data, and evaluating the results.
