Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies are becoming mainstream for financial interactions and standard tools when conducting cybercrime such as scams, frauds, ransomware, darknet markets, sextortion, etc. LEAs also adapted to a new situation, and many investigators are already familiar with cryptocurrency basics and how to trace transactions on publicly available blockchain explorers. This session aims to extend the knowledge of participants about more advanced topics of cryptocurrency forensics.
