Original language description
During last year Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) films undergo the huge development. They can be prepared, for example, by Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition (PECVD). These films are used for its attractive mechanical and chemical properties (high hardness, high wear resistance and so on). The aim of the present work is to characterise the surface of DLC films by means of the surface free energy. The surface free energy can be calculated whereby various numerical or graphical methods depending on numbber of the liquids which are using to measuring of the contact angle of the drop on the surface of DLC films.
