The organic dye rhodamine B polymerizes in aqueous solution forming monomeric and dimeric forms. Thwe results obtained from intercalation of rhodamine b into montmorillonite confirmed adsorbed amounts of dye into interlayer of montmorillonite with increases molar rati od monomeric and dimeric forms in saturation solution. The existence of polymeric forms of dye into interlayer strongly influences the process of intercalation and structure of intercalates Rhodamine-montmorillonite (RH-SWy).
