Many archive documents were inundated during the catastrophic flood in 2002 in the Bohemia, dominantly in many Prague central institutions and archives. The documents were frozen in huge packets just after the water receded and at present they are savedin freezing storages at the temperature under -30 ?C. The frozen materials usually contain various kinds of documents, dominantly on paper with written of printed information. A significant part of the material is photographic materials, both negatives aand positives. The vacuum sublimation called lyophilisation is the most effective process. This work presents the first results obtained during the study of positive photographic materials lyophilisation.

Během povodní v Čechách v roce 2002 byla zatopena celá řada objektů, v Praze pak zejména řada archivů centrálních institucí. Dokumenty byly zamrazeny v balících a jsou dosud uchovávány při teplotě pod -30 ?C. Zamrazené balíky obsahují řadu různých druhůdokumentů, zejména psaných a tištěných. Značná část je pak tvořena fotografickými materiály, jak negativními, tak i pozitivními. Vakuová sublimace je jednou z nejefektivnějších metod vhodných k vysušení těchto materiálů. Článek ukazuje první výsledky zísskané během studia lyofilizace pozitivních fotograických materiálů.
