Comparison of Mobile Analytics and Standard Spectrophotometric Method for the Determination of Nitrates in Surface Waters

Original language description

The main object of this work was the determination of nitrates concentration in waters using arbitrary spectrophotometric method and mobile analytics. This methods were mutually compared. The spectrophotometric method with salicylic acid was used as arbitrary method, while colorimetric screening tests and cuvette tests with photometric detection were used as mobile analytics. The evaluation of the methods was done using the Snedecors and Cochrans test, parametric Students t-test and the graphic Youdensmetod. The all procedures proved that the mobile analytics is very suitable method, as it gives not only the proper results in the comparison with the arbitrary method, but it is also a time saving, very quick method usable also in the field.

Porovnání metod mobilní analytiky a standardní spektrofotometrické metody pro stanovení dusičnanů v povrchových vodách

Czech description

Hlavním cílem této práce bylo stanovení koncentrací dusičnanů ve vodách pomocí rozhodčí metody a pomocí mobilní analytiky a porovnání těchto metod mezi sebou. Jako rozhodčí metoda byla použita spektrofotometrická metoda s kyselinou salicylovou, z mobilníanalytiky byly využity kolorimetrické screeningové testy a kyvetové testy s fotometrickou detekcí. Pro porovnání metod bylo použito Snedecorova a Cochranova testu, parametrického Studentova t-testu a grafické Youdenovy metody. Tyto postupy prokázaly, žemobilní analytika je velmi vhodnou metodou, protože poskytuje nejen správné výsledky, v porovnání s rozhodčí metodou, ale z hlediska časové náročnosti se jedná o velmi rychlou metodu, použitelnou i v terénu.
