Antibiotics used in human and veterinary medicines are important group of drugs. Using these compounds leasd to their spreading and accumulating into the environment where undesirable resistance is formed. The analysis of sulfonamides is highly influenced by their properties, mainly insolubility in water, ethanole, ether and dichloromethane. Tetracyclines are the group of antibiotics with identical primadry structure. The simple extraction method for sulfonamides and tetracyclines in waste water has been developed. The HPLC instrument was used for analysis of the samples.

Czech description
Antibiotika jsou látky používané ve veterinární i humánní medicíně. Bylo zjištěno, že tyto sloučeniny blokují biologické procesy na čistírnách odpadních vod a některé patogenní organismy si vůči nim vytvářejí rezistence. Vzorky vod byly extrahovány jednoducho extrakční metodou a stanovení probíhalo na přístroji HPLC.
