Measurements of mercury species in river sediments using diffusive gradients in thin films technique with different specific resins
Original language description
The diffusive gradient in thin films technique, developed by Davison and Zhang for in situ determination of kinetically labile metal species in aquatic systems has been successfully used as a means to follow the concentration of trace metals in natural waters, metal fluxes in sediments and soils and also to estimate the concentration of metals in pore waters. Till 2005 the DGT technique gives useful information about wide range of metal species but not for mercury.
