Bubbles formation in diaphragm discharge configuration supplied by DC non-pulsing voltage
Original language description
The main object of this presentation is the diagnostics of the diaphragm discharge generated in water solutions containing supporting NaCl electrolyte, and description of particular processes before and after discharge breakdown by DC non-pulsed voltageup to 4 kV. The batch plasma reactor using a diaphragm configuration with stainless steel electrodes was employed in the presented work. The dielectric barrier was made of PET or Shapal-M ceramics with the variable thickness (0.3-1.5 mm). One pin hole atthe diaphragm centre with diameter of 0.3-1.0 mm was used in contemporary experiments. The formation of bubbles was observed by current-voltage time resolved characteristics in dependence on the pin-hole parameters as well as on the solution conductivity.
