In this contribution, the utilization of multivariate statistical methods (principal component analysis (PCA), as well as methods of discrimination analysis ? canonical discrimination (CDA) and k-th neighbour discrimination) on UV-VIS and EPR characteristics of group Slovak organic and conventional white and red wines were applied, in order to test the possibilities of their utilization for the discrimination of wine according to the way of production as well as to test the prediction and recognition ability of the statistical models used.
