Properties of ternary compound nanoparticles synthesized by electrical discharge processing of micropowders mixtures in solution and modified by laser irradiation
Original language description
In this abstract, we discuss the properties of ternary compound nanoparticles (NPs) synthesized by electrical discharge processing of a stoichiometric mixture of initial reagents in micropowder form followed by laser annealing of the resulting particles with the second harmonic of a NdYAG laser (532 nm). Set of the discharge conditions were determined to be effective to produce magnetic gadolinium germanosilicide and copper-indium diselenide nanoparticles, perspective for the biomedical and photovoltaic applications, respectively.
