Adaptation of Cupriavidus necator H16 to levulinic acid for enhancement of 3-hydroxyvalerate content in copolymer P(3HB-co-3HV)
Original language description
Within this work we used methods of evolutionary engineering to gain strains adapted to levulinic acid able to growth at the presence of levulinic acid and to convert it to 3HV and incorporate into copolymer P(3HB-co-3HV) more than wild-type strain. On the basis of specific enzyme activities of selected enzymes through metabolism of evolved strains we tried to suggest possible metabolic adaptation strategies and we also used methods of statistical analysis such as PCA and AHC for searching of common and different strategies between evolved strains.
