Thermoelectric generator using energy of phase change materials
Original language description
The paper describes in detail the theory of determining the thermal, electrical and thermoelectric parameters of TEG and PCM based on phase transformation. The experimental part analyzes the results obtained from the sequences of thermo-photographs. The thermal parameters of both materials were determined from the dependences of the temperature responses in the measured system. It was found that TEG exhibits a thermal conductivity of about 1.3 W/m/K and a specific heat capacity of about 1300 J/kg/K. In PCM, both thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity increase linearly as a result of the gradual accumulation of heat in the material. This is related to the change in the enthalpy of the PCM during its local heating.
