    The effect of pink afterglow is studied in dependence on the trace methane concentration in the pure nitrogen. The strong quenching of the pink emission can be observed at methane concentrations of a few ppm. The kinetic model of the processes resultingin the pink afterglow is included.

    Efekt pink afterglow byl studován v závislosti na koncentraci metanové příměsi v čistém dusíku. Silné zhášení efektu bylo pozorováno při koncentracích metanu v řádu několika ppm. Na základě měření byl navržen vhodný kinetický model.
