The book presents a selection of villas, realized on thje territory of contemportary Polish Republic from 17th century till today with the accent on 20th century architecture.The books includes the work of eminent Polish architects /Stanislaw Witthiewicz, Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz, Bohdan Pniewski, Bohdan Lachert, Stanislaw Szanajca etc./ from the time of Jugendstil and¨ the interwar period , but also works of German architects /Max Berg, Walter Gropius, Otto Bartning, Adolf Rading, Heinrich Lauterbach etc./ before the Second World War, and last not least also works of contemportary Polish architects.
