Folded structures worskshop gives our students a hands-on experience with the design and realization of a small origami folded shell structure pavillion. Learning goals for this intensive course are: - to learn the geometric and topographic principles behind the folded plate structures design, - to provide a tactile experience with the model based folded design method, - to learn about the material and technological possibilities suitable for a small foldable structure fabrication (faces and hinges) - to provide a hand-on experience with the foldable pavillion fabrication
