8th Annual International Conference on Architecture and Urbanism was organized for doctoral students from the Central Europe in order to exchange experience and knowledge between research institutes and young researchers during the meeting. The conference was held on 13 November 2019 in the auditorium A310 at the premises of the Faculty of Architecture of the Brno University of Technology (FA BUT). The students presented during one day present the results of their research focused on the topic of the doctoral thesis in two thematic areas of architecture and urban design. This year’s 8th annual conference followed up on previous conferences held in Prague in 2011, 2014 and 2017, in Bratislava in 2012 and 2015 and in Brno in 2013 and 2016.
