The topic of this article is about the need of evaluation of information systems. Nowadays, there is pressure on manufacturers to increase profit, decrease cycle times, improve service and reduce inventories. This is not possible without efficient information system. But ? what is in this case efficiency? And how can be this efficiency evaluated? The evaluation of information systems is one of the most intractable problems on the field on information technology. In this paper are described these problemms. In the second part there are described problems with evaluation of information systems efficiently based on definition of information systems efficiency.
