The article deals with the trend of long-life education and the application of marketing approach in the conditions of the Czech Republic. Contemporary society is characterized especially by the terms such as: change, uncertainty, knowledge, information,globalization etc. We are also touched by these terms in the educational system; we have to be aware of the fact that the education itself ages faster and faster. The sense should be so as the educated person could be employed without any problem, so ashis/her competence would comply with topical needs of labor market. Nevertheless, this task is not easy, as requirements of labor market are variable, much like the overall contemporary world. The learning is becoming a long-life task.
