This report is engaged in problems of direct taxes in the Czech Republic. The main aim of this report is to sum up the development of the income tax rate for natural person and corporate body and then analyze how the changes in the tax rate influenced the income of the state budget from this tax. There is also compared the total amount of the tax burden in the Czech Republic and in the other states of European Union.
