Original language description
In public administration, quality is related mostly to the effort of organizations to do the right things in the right way (the concept of Good Governance), i.e. in a high quality, effectively, economically and in time. The paper presents possible approaches to quality management in the environment of public administration. The main objective was the focus on using quality methods in public administration in the Czech Republic and possible motivations and obstacles related to its implementation. The conclusion mentions several proposals that might, as we believe, facilitate the use of quality methods in the public administration environment.
