Lower limb prostheses components made from composite materials
Original language description
The article describes a project that deals with the lower limb prostheses composite components development. The application of composite materials causes an improvement of technical parameters and functional properties of prostheses. The combination of experimental and computational methods was used for the primary solution of the project, that consists of CAD design of prostheses with composite components, development of the composite component technology process, manufacture of functional composite component prototypes, performance of static and cyclic tests according to the ISO 10328 standard and performance of long-term clinical tests on prosthesis.
