    The thesis concerns the research into the behavior of composite materials with non-conductive polymer matrix (epoxy) and conductive fillers (short carbon fibres) in alternating and static electric fields. The interest in such materials derives from the growing problems with electromagnetic compatibility. The potential applicability of this material for damping of electromagnetic fields radiated from electronic devices is under investigation in this study.
