Original language description
Operation and control of large heating systems is very difficult activity. The knowledge of their characteristics and behaviour in different operational situations is necessary for efficient control of these systems. Our goal was to create a complex computational program for pressure, flow and temperature ratio simulations in networks distributing heat. It calculates pressures, flows and temperatures in particular places in the network, then pressure and heat losses in particular pipelines. The calculation runs on the basis of determined network parameters, source delivery and consumer s demands. It can be applied to circle and radial heat supply networks with one or more heat sources, where steam or hot water as a heat-transfer medium can be used.
