    Optimal parameters for the generalized Laguerre identification method

    In this article the question of the optimal choice of the generalization parameter alpha and the time-scale parameter p for truncated series of generalized Laguerre functions (GLF) will be studied. Short introduction of the GLF identification method will be given. The impact of the optimal choice of parameters alpha and p for approximating output signals of LTI dynamical systems will be presented on the examples.
