Original language description
A novel approach to electronics is based on two novel disciplines: spin electronics and molecular electronics. A fundamental connection between these two fields can be es-tablished using single-molecule magnets (SMMs). Herein, we report complex spec-troscopic investigation of selected SMMs by high frequency electron spin resonance (HFESR), ultraviolet-visible (UV-VIS), and x-ray photoelectron (XPS).
