Original language description
We present a monolithic mid-infrared lab-on-a-chip for sensitive and selective real-time spectroscopy of liquids. Beyond state-of-the-art operation of our fingertip-sized sensor devices is demonstrated by in-situ reaction monitoring experiments of thermally-induced protein-conformational changes and by dynamical residual-water analysis in a solvent.
