Can we predict success of insulin pump therapy ?
Original language description
Predictors of insulin pump therapy. The aim of the study was to find parameters suitable for prediction of a successful or adverse course of insulin pump treatment. Based on the evaluation of data obtained from the Register of patients treated with an insulin pump it is impossible to identify an unequivocal predictor of insulin pump treatment success. Nonetheless, it seems that the improvement in glycemic control could be expected in elder patients with a longer diabetes duration, poor glycemic controlor with present late complications.
